This stunning commissioned duet was a real pleasure to make.

The client wanted a special piece to go in his newly decorated and modern apartment overlooking the ocean.

The brief as to make something inspirational and aspirational, to tell a story and trigger positivity and possibility.

I was delighted to make this because the main goal of my art has always been to inspire happiness and positivity in my audience.

I thought of making a geode based piece with a bit of the ocean included to reflect the location of the home.

Geodes are made by nature and look pretty unremarkable from the outside but full of wonders on the inside. Citrine geodes are strongly associated with the spiritual aspect of our lives and promote positive energy replacing the darkness with light and happiness.

These two pieces are facing each other and seemed destined to be together, hence my choice for the name.

Using crystal quartz and citrine stones, which are meant to give energy and creativity in life. Citrine is said to be a vitamin for the soul because it resonates with joy and positivity.

This paintings also have Swarovski crystals as well as a crystal quartz cluster and gold leaf.
